Web Design and Development

An effective marketing tool does not only aim to keep your clients updated with the available products but will also let your website stand out distinctively in this highly competitive online industry. It becomes your office online bringing out the best of all your products, making them reachable to all types of clients. A website that appears boring may put off potential clients from ever visiting your page, therefore, giving the chance of getting the attention of customers to other competitors of the industry. Hundreds to thousands of websites are up and running today; however, not many of them can be that excellent looking. Your website should deliver the message that you intend for both your existing and potential clients to understand. Only those websites which are organized properly and developed effectively can help your business profit in more ways than one. Other than the purpose of profitability, your website is also an effective place where you can communicate.

Lx Web Solutions has already designed and developed over 300 corporate websites in various domains and has indeed created an outstanding reputation in this kind of industry. Our web designers are not computer engineers. They have an excellent background of fine arts, and they do understand everything about colors, the kind of audience that you are targeting and the kind of message that you want to convey. Before we design your own website, we carefully analyze how your competitors come up with their website so we could help you create a design that is unique and original and only belongs to you and your business.

We value the process involved in the whole web designing. Without full understanding of what you require from us, we can never begin with our task. We sternly adhere to steps with the help from Prelim Project Requirement Analysis which also requires you to be involved, so that project completion will be a smooth success.

The following are the steps that we strictly follow for a productive web design:

  1. 1. Information Gathering. All the required information is gathered from the client, who will be in-charge to check the entire project from creation until completion with the use of an Information Gathering Template (IGTD) provided to the client. Client-company interaction is also necessary for maximum input.
  2. 2. Internal Analysis. The site map can be completed from the initial marketing phase and once it has been finalized, project Internal Analysis is carried out through these following procedures:

Study by the Project Manager

Identifying the Programming and Designing modules

Designing—Allocate the team

Programming –Allocate the team (separate doc)

Reconfirmation of time calculations

Project Evaluation and Review Format

Turning Over the project modules to the respective team

  1. 3. Concept Generation. The team of designers will now come up with a concept based on the information gathered from the previous steps.
  2. 4.       Designing the Initial Template for Approval. The initial template will now be designed and handed over to the Project Manager, who will review the template and is responsible for the approval. Once the template is approved, the Project Manager will send it to the client for approval.
  3. 5.       Feedback. Keep a documentation of the feedback according to the following scenarios:

Scenario 1—Proceed to step 7 if design is approved

Scenario 2—Proceed to step 6 for unapproved design

  1. 6.       Modification/Redesigning. If the initial template was unapproved, redesigning may be necessary and refer to the feedback. Repeat documentation (step 5) as well.
  2. 7.       Showing 50% of the Work. Once template is approved, 50% of the design will be completed and once again sent to the Project Manager who will give it to the client for more feedback.
  3. 8.       Awaiting Approval for the Work (50% Completed). There is a constant documentation of feedback from client if required. Steps 7 and 8 may be repeated until such time that mutual satisfaction is achieved.
  4. 9.       Completing the Rest of the 50%. If the first 50% design gained approval, the other 50% shall be completed. When design completion is achieved, integration of programming modules might be necessary if necessary.
  5. 10.   Testing. The testing team along with the Project Manager will give the complete project a try to ensure that the highest quality has been produced. This is the step where functionality of the website will be assessed.
  6. 11.   Final Approval. The fully operational and the test project will be handed to the client for the final approval. Minor changes, if any, will be corrected in this step.
  7. 12.   Website Launching. The project will be launched and this is done to ensure the functionality of the website.
  8. 13.   Handing Over the Completed Project. The completed project will be handed to the client providing explanations on the different functions of the website and this will be done through email. LMT.pdf is the maintenance template that will be provided to the client to furnish things and send over to Lxweb.
  9. 14.   Maintenance. Maintenance is done as requested, which shall be sent over to LxWeb by the client.

The time it takes for the project to be completed will depend on the number of pages the website requires. The duration of the project development can be shorten if more personnel will be employed. A crucial factor that may contribute to any delay to the project is on the client’s feedback phase. It is important that the website requirements are properly discussed beforehand.
